Emergency Help in VI Hail
VI Hail includes a built-in Call for Help (911) feature to support hailers in emergency situations.
This feature allows you to quickly contact emergency services when needed.
How to Access Emergency Help
To access emergency help in the app:
Open the VI Hail app
Tap the menu icon (☰) in the upper-left corner
Select Call for Help
Your phone will initiate a call to 911
This feature is available even if a hail is not currently active.
When to Use Emergency Help
Use the 911 feature if:
You feel unsafe during a hail
There is an accident or medical emergency
Immediate assistance is required
Do not use this feature for non-emergency support questions.
Important Safety Notes
The emergency call uses your phone’s native dialer
VI Hail does not monitor or intercept emergency calls
Use emergency services only for urgent situations
After an Emergency
Once you are safe:
End the hail if necessary
Report the incident through the app or support portal
Provide details to support if follow-up is needed
