Rider Safety with VI Hail

Your safety is a priority when using VI Hail. The app includes features and guidelines designed to help hailers travel safely and confidently.

Built-In Safety Features

VI Hail provides the following safety tools:

• Driver details shown before the hail begins

• Live driver tracking during the hail

• In-app messaging and calling with your driver

• Call for Help (911) option available from the app menu

Before You Start a Hail

For a safer experience:

• Confirm the driver and vehicle details in the app

• Be ready at a safe, visible pickup location

• Keep location services enabled

During a Hail

While your hail is in progress:

• Track the route in real time

• Use in-app communication if needed

• Wear your seatbelt at all times

If You Feel Unsafe

If you ever feel unsafe:

• Use the Call for Help (911) feature immediately

• End the hail if necessary

• Report the issue through the app or support portal
