Canceling a Hail
Hailers can cancel a hail directly from the VI Hail app.
Cancellations are allowed before a hail starts.
When You Can Cancel a Hail
You can cancel a hail when:
The hail is searching for a driver
A driver has accepted but the hail has not started
Once a hail is in progress, it can no longer be canceled through the app.
How to Cancel a Hail
To cancel a hail:
Open the VI Hail app
Open your active hail
Tap Cancel Hail
Confirm the cancellation
The hail will immediately be canceled and removed from active status.
What Happens After You Cancel
After canceling:
The hail moves to Trips → Cancelled
No funds are deducted if the hail did not start
You may request a new hail at any time
Common Questions
Will I be charged if I cancel?
No. Wallet funds are only deducted after a completed hail.
Why don’t I see the cancel option?
If the hail has already started, cancellation is no longer available.
Can I cancel and rebook immediately?
Yes. You can request a new hail after canceling.
