Adding Funds to Your Wallet

VI Hail uses a prepaid wallet system.
Hailers must add funds to their wallet before requesting a hail.

Wallet funding is processed securely through Stripe.

How to Add Funds

To add money to your wallet:

1. Open the VI Hail app

2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the upper-left corner

3. Select Wallet

4. Tap Funding

5. Choose a preset amount:

   • $5

   • $10

   • $25

   • $40
     or enter a custom amount

6. Tap Pay

7. Complete payment in the Stripe portal

Once payment is complete, your wallet balance updates.

Where to See Your Wallet Balance

• Your wallet balance appears:

  • Under your profile name in the menu

  • Inside the Wallet → Balance tab

Important Things to Know

• Wallet funds are required to book a hail

• Payments are cashless

• Funds are non-transferable between accounts

• Stripe handles all payment processing securely

Wallet authorization ensures hails can be completed without payment issues.

Yes, as long as the hail has not started.
